In 1996, Sam Robin, after years of designing high end furniture and outfitting luxury apartments, joined forces with Italian furniture designer Francesco Caracciolo di Marano.
Together the two created SIRIO and the following summer they began producing their furniture designs in Italy and installing their exclusive product line in many of their most successful design projects, all the while showcasing their collections in the most important international furniture fairs of the day and promoting their brand to potential investors.
In 2004, the SIRIO team expanded their production efforts and partnered with one of the most reputable production houses in S.E Asia. The objective of the SIRIO team was a simple and straight forward one – to provide a comparable product to that of the Italian produced pieces to their expanding client base in the Commercial, Contract & Hospitality markets. The end result of this vision was a more cost effective end product that was manufactured to the same exacting standards of its European counterpart.
